Quick Tips for Hyrox Singapore 2025
Share
HYROX Singapore is back on November 29 and 30, 2025 at Singapore Expo.
It will be indoors, so you do not have to worry about sun or rain. Just you, the course, and thousands of other athletes pushing through eight 1 km runs and eight workout stations. June’s event had over 10,000 participants and the same high energy is expected again with music and an MC.
Getting There and Checking In
Arrive at least 90 minutes before your start time. This gives you enough time to check in, drop your bag, warm up, and find your way around. Singapore Expo is directly connected to the MRT at Expo Station CG1/DT35 on the Green and Blue lines. If you are driving, there is plenty of parking.
At registration, have your e-ticket ready to scan. This is where you will get your timing chip and race wristband. There is no race briefing at the venue, so watch the official Technical Briefing video before race day: It explains the movement standards and rules you will need to follow.

Before the Race
Singapore is humid even indoors, so start hydrating before you race. Use the hydration stations on the course and at the finish, and bring your own water for before your start.
Eat a balanced meal a few hours before your wave with foods you know work well for you. Keep snacks light if your start is later in the day. Avoid anything heavy or new and go easy on caffeine.
Warming Up
Use the warm-up area to get your body ready. About 20 to 30 minutes before your wave, spend 10 to 15 minutes raising your heart rate and moving through key exercises.
Try a short jog or row, a few wall balls, light lunges, or burpees. Be at the start corral 10 minutes before your start time.
Simple Race Strategy
When the race begins, do not go all out in the first kilometer. Many first timers make that mistake and burn out quickly. Think of HYROX as an endurance event. Keep a steady pace so you can finish strong.
For heavy stations like the sled push, break the distance into chunks. At bodyweight stations, keep moving rather than stopping after big bursts. In doubles, switch partners often. In a relay, be ready in the exchange zone before your teammate arrives.
Remember that judges will be watching each station. If your form does not meet the standard, you will get a “no rep” and have to repeat it. This can be for things like not squatting low enough or missing the wall ball target. Clean form saves time and energy.
After the Finish
When you cross the line, hand in your timing chip and start rehydrating. Walk for a few minutes to cool down, then stretch or join a recovery session. When you are ready to eat, go for something with protein and carbs to help your muscles recover.
Singapore has plenty of great food nearby, but stay around if you can. There's an exhibition right next to the race area, where a lot of local brands show off their fitness products and clothing -- you can often get free merch and samples here!
And finally, come to the protea booth where we'll be cheering you on: see you at the start line!
